[Food Review] Burp Kitchen and Bar

Burp Kitchen and Bar is a lovely cafe nestled in the east of Singapore overlooking the lush greens of Bedok Reservoir! Was really delighted that another great cafe serving great food is found in the east :)

Besides a nice selection of craft beers, Burp Kitchen also serves some very innovative cocktails. We tried the Tiramisu Cocktail which is a mix of espresso, Kahlua, Baileys and chococolate syrup and also the Lychee Caprioska consisting of vodka, lychee liquor, lychee and lime.

Salted Egg Tofu Fries!!! When this was served, we couldn't help but be impressed by the very yummy presentation. Made of tofu strips and drizzled with their home made salted egg sauce, these 2 complemented each other really well. Using tofu for this dish is definitely a healthier choice and we happily indulged in this without much guilt.

Beef Bulgogi Tacos were served next. A nice fusion of Korean and Mexican that made us go 'WOW' upon the very first bite because the beef was so juicy and tender!!! Highly recommend this dish!

Burp's Beef Burger with thick and juicy beef patty and a nicely fried egg on top. This burger was pretty decent and satisfying sandwiched between two fluffy buns.

Crabby Patty Burger, another star dish here at Burp. An entire softshell crab fried to golden, crispy perfection drizzled in salted egg sauce served with squid ink buns!!! Awesome combination that would never go wrong. Nothing seems to go wrong with salted egg sauce.
